CHARLOTTE YOUTH HOCKEY ANNOUNCEMENT: BANTAM NEWS: Due to the overwhelming number of Bantam level skaters, CYH is aggressively pursuing the option of a third team for the 2008-2009 season. We strongly feel the talent that participated in tryouts allows us to field two competitive "A" teams. Further communications will come directly from the coaching staff of this prospective team. On behalf of CYH we are excited about the upcoming 2008-2009 season. We appreciate your patience as we work through this process. MIDGET 18U NEWS: We currently have 12 players committed to the team. In order to fulfill this team we need 4-5 additional players. Efforts are being conducted to make this happen for the 2008-2009 season.

The 2008-2009 youth hockey season is just around the corner. There are many exciting opportunities for next year. The 2008-2009 season will provide multiple complimentary levels of Charlotte based hockey from which to choose. Options will include Tier II AA and A level travel teams under the Jr. Checkers name and house programs. These complimentary programs allow our children to develop skills and to participate at a competitive level best suited to their desires and skill levels. Charlotte Youth Hockey (CYH) is excited about the upcoming season and looks to improve upon the successes of many of the teams in the 2007-2008 season.
